                Job Description
Responsibilities:As a member of an interdisciplinary design team working with senior engineers designing highway transportation projects:
- Collect engineering information and data
 - Perform computations and analyses
 - Prepare design sketches and diagrams
 - Prepare engineering drawings and maps using CADD software
 - Perform quantity computations
 - Develop spreadsheets for computations and analyses
 - Perform traffic and safety studies
 - Write engineering reports and correspondence
 - Perform field work to investigate existing and construction conditions
 - Perform literature reviews
 - Cooperate and coordinate with other design team members
 - Review contractor submittals such as working drawings and RFIs
 
Requirements:
- BS in Civil Engineering
 - Experience with Microstation or Autocad, Word and Excel
 - Familiarity with highway and traffic engineering design standards such as the Highway Capacity Manual, AASHTO Highway Safety Manual, AASHTO Greenbook or the MUTCD.
 - Strong written and verbal communication skills
 - Engineer-in-Training certificate holder preferred
