Formed in 1951, KCB has a long history of participating in some of the largest and most challenging engineering projects in the world; projects that have helped develop resources, reclaim landscapes, build communities and stimulate economies. In fact, our projects continue to stand the test of time and, today, we work on many sites that we helped develop decades ago.
We are structured under four main business sectors: Power and Transportation, Mining Environmental, Australasia and Alberta. We have several subsidiary IEG companies that provide services in the north of Canada with aboriginal joint ventures. KCB is an affiliate of Louis Berger (LBG), a global infrastructure and development firm. Through our association with LBG we have access to a resource base of over 6,000 employees in more than 50 countries. LBG works in the main business areas of environment, highways and infrastructure.
