Duties:
As leader of a design team:
• Preparation of design calculations for roadway geometrics and drainage systems.
• Supervise junior personnel.
• Assist in the preparation of design reports and environmental permit documents.
• Preparation of contract documents including construction plans, E&S plans and quantity tabulation sheets.
• Develop traffic control plans and signing & pavement marking plans.
• Assist in the development of contract special provisions and cost estimates.
• Perform field work to document condition assessments and existing conditions.
• Implementation of corporate Quality Assurance Plan.
• Provide shop drawing review and responses to contractor RFIs.Requirements:
• BS in Civil Engineering.
• PE license in PA or ability to obtain PA PE within six months.
• Ability to guide junior personnel.
• 10 to 15 years of progressive experience.
• Thorough knowledge of PennDOT and PTC Policies and Procedures.
• Familiarity with Open Roads software.
• Familiarity with Microstation or AutoCAD.Position is available in our Bethlehem PA or Harrisburg, PA locations.

Compensation
The approximate compensation range is $115,000 – $130,000 per year. Compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience and skillset.
