Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure is seeking a licensed Lead Project Engineer in New Orleans, Louisiana. This person will execute a variety of Water & Wastewater engineering projects in New Orleans, while reporting remotely into our Florida-based leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Technical planning, design of Water/Wastewater source, distribution, storage & treatment projects
- Conducting treatability and preliminary engineering studies
- Performing QA/QC oversight on projects at all phases
- Performing hydraulic design for pumps and pipes
- Construction administration and oversight
- Client meetings and remote team meetings as needed

Experience
- 7-9 years of Engineering experience on Wastewater/Water source, distribution, storage and treatment projects
- Hands-on hydraulic design experience required; experience with pumps and piping design is preferred.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams.
- AutoCAD, Bluebeam experience is a plus.
Certifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Louisiana required.
Education
- B.S. Civil or Environmental Engineering
