Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Structural Revit Designer to join our team in West Palm Beach, FL. As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in developing structural designs and detailing through Revit for a variety of projects, ranging from commercial buildings and high-rises to educational facilities and industrial structures. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality, innovative designs.Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed Revit models and drawings for structural components, including concrete, steel, and wood.
- Collaborate with structural engineers to interpret design intent and apply structural standards and practices.
- Develop 3D models, sections, elevations, and construction details based on project specifications.
- Coordinate and integrate structural designs with architectural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) models.
- Perform quality control checks on drawings and models to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Manage and update Revit families, templates, and libraries for improved efficiency.
- Participate in design meetings, coordinating with other disciplines and project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Structural Designer, ideally in an engineering firm environment.
- Proficiency in Revit with strong modeling and detailing skills; experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
- Familiarity with structural systems, construction detailing, and building codes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with other disciplines.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, SAP2000) is a plus.
- Experience working on large-scale or complex projects, such as commercial, residential, or industrial structures.
- Certification or formal training in Revit is highly desirable.
