Job Description

  We are partnered with an established and rapidly growing engineering firm who are looking for a new Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team in their New Jersey office, and work on a vast range of exciting new projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive geotechnical investigations, including soil testing, site assessments, and analysis for a backlog of projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Prepare detailed engineering reports, geotechnical designs, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers and civil engineers to ensure integrated project delivery.
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with technical and non-technical clients to generate business for the department.
  • Oversee fieldwork and coordinate with subcontractors and laboratories to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Provide review of projects requiring complex and innovative investigation techniques and supervise the analysis and formulation of recommendations in written reports to clients.
  • Supervise less experienced engineers or technical support personnel on projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in New Jersey is required.
  • 5+ years of Geotechnical Engineering experience
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in geotechnical software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
