You will be encouraged and supported to manage increasingly complex and geotechnically challenging projects.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects
- Analyze vertical and lateral capacity of both shallow and deep foundations, perform settlement analyses, liquefaction analyses, and seismic evaluation
- Design earth-retaining structures, slope stabilization, corrective grading, and landslide mitigation
- Create geotechnical recommendations for the design of private and public projects
- Perform logging of borings and test pits, observation of pier and pile construction, and other construction observation, such as observation of grading operations
- Perform other relevant duties as required

All Candidate Criteria
- Three or more years of engineering project management experience
- Licensed as California Professional Engineer or licensed in another state and can become licensed in California within 6 months
- Education: M.S. in Civil with Geotechnical Engineering specialty (minimum required)
- Experience with settlement, slope stability, seepage, and foundation design and construction; deep foundations, and shallow foundations
- Seismic and GIS experience a plus
