Summary We are currently seeking a motivated, self-starting Civil Engineer to support our Land Development group for our Colorado Springs, CO office. This is a great opportunity for a PE - Civil Engineer who is interested in working with a dynamic team on a wide range of projects creating land development designs and plans for our commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential clients. - Uses professional judgment to independently complete engineering design tasks within federal, state, and local established criteria.
- Lead the design of site layouts, grading plans, storm water management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities.
- Prepares submittals to State, Municipal, and other agencies.
- Work with the Project Manager to assign and manage tasks and schedules for Staff Engineers and Design Technicians.
- Communicate effectively and coordinate with project team members.
- Participate and provide input in the preparation of engineering services proposals, including the calculation/estimation of time schedules and costs of the proposed work.
- Signs and seals engineering documents as an authorized representative of the company.
- Independently communicates on technical matters with the client.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited four-year or graduate engineering university in a relevant discipline.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant engineering experience.
- The ability to plan and lead the preparation of contract documents for Land Development projects.
- Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.

Compensation Range $83,900.00 - $130,200 The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and geographic work location. The total annual compensation package may consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our performance and discretionary incentive bonus program(s).
