Help us build the future and we’ll help you build a rewarding and purposeful career. Our global network is made up of architects, designers, planners, engineers, and environmental scientists all working towards the same goal. Join a team that brings inspirational architecture, landscapes, townscapes and places to our world, and we’ll provide you unlimited space to grow.We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Geostructural Engineer to be part of our Marine and Materials Technology Team.About the RoleYou will be expected to provide technical expertise on projects and contribute to geostructural assessments, calculations, design drawings, technical specifications, and reporting. This may include geotechnical investigation planning and management, laboratory and field tests results interpretation, soil-structure interaction modelling, slope stability assessment, and site work as necessitated by the project.Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise on geostructural projects and deliver appropriate technical outcomes.
  • Development of design packages including numerical models, calculations, specifications, drawings, and reports.
  • Perform site survey and inspections and prepare site condition inspection reports.
  • Preparation of project proposals and expressions of interest.
  • Prepare detailed sketches and briefs for the team drafters.
  • Undertake appropriate planning, and coordination to achieve project outcomes including providing inputs from other offices, subconsultants and suppliers.
  • Manage all jobs to deliver them on time, within budget, to adopted OHS&R standards and to the satisfaction of the client.

Qualifications, Technical Skills and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years' professional experience in the related engineering field
  • Technical capability in geotechnical and structural engineering related fields including:
    • Deep foundations
    • Earth retention systems
    • Ground improvement systems
    • Excavations
    • Underground structures (e.g., tanks, tunnels)
  • Experience in soil-structure interaction modelling and slope stability analysis.
  • Experience with PLAXIS 2D/3D, Slide2/3, LPile, CLiq, and Settle3 would be preferred.
