In the role of Water/Wastewater  EIT , we'll count on you to: ·         Assist the Senior Engineers with site studies, site designs, construction documentation preparation and graphic presentation·         Prepare plans and specifications for water pipelines·         Prepare plans and specifications for wastewater facilities and treatment systems·         Write first drafts of technical memoranda·         Read and understand technical manuals·         Prepare spreadsheet calculations·         Perform construction cost estimates·         Perform field work includingo    inspection of concrete and steel facilitieso    report preparation·         Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects·         Perform other duties, as neededPreferred Qualifications

  • MS
  • EIT preferred, those hired without an EIT will be called a W/WW Coordinator and expected to obtain EIT for career progression

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
  • Interest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilities
  • AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position is $64,260 - $86,940 annually and depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
