- Conducts QA on automated geotechnical laboratory products and assists the production team.
- Works directly with customers to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues, provides customer assistance by escalating and reproducing the problem to the internal development/engineering team until a solution is reached
- Provides Customer feedback to the executive and development team
- Conducts training to clients
- Works with research, development, and production teams to improve our products and make them more reliable and easier to use
- Conducts research and assists with the preparation and delivery of technical presentations and publications
Desired skills and competencies:
- Has knowledge of and passion for high-quality geotechnical testing
- Has broad knowledge of Geotechnical engineering and soil mechanics
- Basic knowledge and understanding of instrumentation
- At least one year of experience performing advanced geotechnical laboratory testing
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting technical issues with testing systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with good references
- Passionate commitment to quality and success
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Has a proven record of publishing and presenting in peer-reviewed journals and national and international conferences
- Master’s degree in Geotechnical engineering (PhD preferred)
- Up to 30% travel, may include international
