BGC is seeking an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer with a focus on advanced numerical modelling and earthquake geotechnical engineering. While this position will focus on those two core competencies, the successful candidate should expect a diverse role that includes: advanced numerical analysis, advanced laboratory testing, field data collection, and reporting. This role can be based in any of BGC’s offices in North America or in Santiago, Chile.
The successful candidate will support our in-house geotechnical experts in advanced numerical modelling with FLAC2D and 3D. Detailed responsibilities include:

Driver’s LicenseBGC requires that employees have a valid driver's license, and that employees can drive a field pickup truck. Upon hiring, BGC will require a driver’s abstract to allow for a safety review of your driving history.
