We offer a wide range of expertise to support client needs for both new and existing transportation structures.The RoleWe are hiring a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Transportation Team. Our ideal candidate will have experience in the area of foundation design and soil mechanics.Responsibilities

  • Execution of technical aspects under the supervision of a project manager.
  • Assisting a team to produce design drawings and models in a team environment.
  • Assisting in field work such as inspection and monitoring of construction and site investigation.
  • This position may also require some field inspections related to foundation installation or SOE construction which may require OSHA training.

Requirements

  • A master's degree with a focus on Structural and Geotechnical Engineering
  • 1 to 2 years of experience.
  • Knowledge/education in FEM analysis
  • Can use basic structural analysis tools such as CSI tools (SAP2000) or STAAD
  • Revit/CAD working knowledge – be able to work on BIM models
  • Experience with basic geotechnical analysis software (Slope-W, L-Pile, WEAP).
