Working with a specialist team of Engineers and Drafters, you will be responsible for the Structural design, documentation, analysis, proposals, reporting and project management of various Commercial, Industrial, Educational and Infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the Structural design and documentation for various projects locally and nationally
  • Undertaking Structural design components using relative software, including SpaceGass, Strand7, Structural Toolkit etc
  • Reviewing Structural designs, ensuring that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and SMEC
  • Production of engineering reports and supporting tender proposals
  • Proactively collaborating with team members, contributors and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness and co-ordination of project deliverables
  • Mentoring and training of junior engineers and designers

  About You

  • Relevant Engineering qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years domestic experience working as a Structural Engineer
  • CPEng or working towards becoming chartered
  • Demonstrated design experience using relevant Structural software 
  • Relevant previous project portfolio
  • Strong understanding of Australian building codes and standards
  • Full working rights
