Working with a specialist team of Engineers and Drafters, you will be responsible for the Structural design, documentation, analysis, proposals, reporting and project management of various Commercial, Industrial, Educational and Infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating the Structural design and documentation for various projects locally and nationally
- Undertaking Structural design components using relative software, including SpaceGass, Strand7, Structural Toolkit etc
- Reviewing Structural designs, ensuring that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and SMEC
- Production of engineering reports and supporting tender proposals
- Proactively collaborating with team members, contributors and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness and co-ordination of project deliverables
- Mentoring and training of junior engineers and designers
About You
- Relevant Engineering qualifications
- Minimum 10 years domestic experience working as a Structural Engineer
- CPEng or working towards becoming chartered
- Demonstrated design experience using relevant Structural software
- Relevant previous project portfolio
- Strong understanding of Australian building codes and standards
- Full working rights
