The Opportunity:Our Civil & Structural Engineers are based across our Birmingham, Bolton, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Stoke and Leeds offices with around 50 staff. Our vibrant head office in Stoke have an opening for a Senior or Principal level Civil Engineer to join the team and assist on a wide range of projectsWe are currently instructed on a number of interesting and exciting projects ranging in type and size from £500k to £90m in construction value. These projects are across many different sectors of development including residential, education, and waste sectors. They range from small affordable housing site infrastructure to Major schools and college projects.You will be part of a team preparing flood risk assessments, drainage strategies and producing detailed drainage designs. You will be responsible for project managing your own schemes and assisting and advising more junior members of staff. You will be liaising with clients and the wider project teams on projects.You:The successful candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree, a minimum of three years’ experience and be proficient in the design of drainage networks and SuDS features using drainage design software. Experience in producing flood risk assessments and drainage strategies is also required. AutoCAD and MicroDrainage experience are essential.
