Wood Rodger’s primary goal for the Design Technology Group is to optimize design software for use within the entire company. As the Design Technology Lead Software Engineer, you will be tasked to support and improve a large existing codebase, design new applications per project/user requirements, investigate new technology, interface with Autodesk programming teams, and supervise a team of programmers and consultants. The Wood Rodgers Design Technology Group is currently moving towards a “single source of truth” for project design data and the delivery of 3D models for review and construction. This work is exciting, challenging, and rewarding. What you will be doing:
- Lead a development team
- Maintain large codebases
- Develop plugins for desktop CAD apps
- Work within Agile development framework
- Implement DevOps practices
- Follow coding best practices
- Sustainable, scalable architecture of multiple systems
The Ante:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science
- 5+ years of software development experience
- C# and .NET expertise
What it takes:
- Practical DevOps knowledge
- Experience with automated testing
- Experience working with relational databases
- Knowledge of various design patterns

- Experience in civil engineering domain
- Autodesk Forge APIs
- AutoCAD and Civil 3D .NET APIs
- Web development
- WPF and MVVM
- Microstation development

If there is an offer, the salary presented will consider several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, and training. Base pay is just one piece of the compensation package offered by Wood Rodgers.Pay Range$117,000—$146,200 USD
