American Engineering TestingGeotech Drilling AssistantSt. Paul, MN WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Our drilling crews collect soil and rock samples that provide site information used by our geotechnical engineers when designing new roads, bridges, and buildings. We have an opening for a Drilling Assistant to assist with drilling operations in the surrounding area. In this role, you’ll operate vehicles and drilling equipment to obtain samples, record test locations/soil type, install monitoring wells, and seal boreholes while prioritizing safety and client relationships. Candidates should enjoy working outdoors in varied weather conditions and have a comfort level with equipment maintenance. Training for the position is provided, though a background in soil science, geology, or earth science is helpful. IN THIS JOB, YOU WILL:
