Help us build the future and we’ll help you build a rewarding and purposeful career.Who are we looking for?We're looking for a qualified Structural Engineer to join our growing local team in Traralgon.Through collaboration and support from our Victorian Structures, Bridges & Materials Business Group, you’ll play a key role in the delivery of local projects in the Gippsland region, and have the opportunity to support broader Victorian & national projects.We’re open to applicants at various career stages, and we’ll tailor the role to suit your skills – share your skills as a leader or mentor, or develop your skillset working alongside our expert team!You will join a dynamic design-led environment with a focus on innovation and sustainability, delivering high quality outcomes for clients, with a focus on transport, water and industrial projects in Victoria and across Australia.Join our team of globally connected specialists to help solve complex challenges and experience groundbreaking projects from idea to delivery, and beyond.This diverse and exciting position will see you involved in:

  • Delivery of significant local Gippsland based, and broader Victorian and national projects, in transport, water and industry.
  • Design and documentation of structural engineering projects
  • Delivery of technical reports and specifications
  • Delivery of client proposals and presentations
  • Establishing, maintaining, and enhancing relationships with clients, GHD staff and suppliers

What would you bring to the team?

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering with experience in civil/structural design ideally in a consulting environment
  • Well-developed knowledge of Australian Design Standards.
  • Proficient in the use of structural modelling software such as SpaceGass, Strand7, RAPT
  • Knowledge of Revit, Bluebeam and BIM360 preferred.
  • Local accreditations beneficial (RPEV, MTM, ARTC, etc)
  • Strong customer focus with a passion for delivering results
  • Excellent communication, client relationship and design skills
