Every day, our staff solves problems and overcomes challenges that make an immediate difference to our clients and the people they serve. A day in the life of a Structural Engineer at NTH·       Prepare proposals and fee estimates for architectural / engineering services related to above and below ground building systems and elements.·       Preparing and reviewing professional reports, contract documents, design details, and technical specifications for repairs.·       Plan, organize, and write assessment reports describing the assessment, evaluation, findings, and conclusions, as well as conceptual repair recommendations, together with a preliminary opinion of probable construction costs.·       Plan, organize, supervise, and conduct field condition assessments and structural evaluations.·       Assess feasibility and soundness of proposed restoration / maintenance designs.·       Engineer and design for the restoration and / or replacement of building components while considering the client’s budget and schedule, impacts on their operations, constructability, product and material availability, other related work, and / or logistics.·       Perform administrative tasks including reviewing contractor submittals and substitutions, responding to requests for information (RFIs), preparing addendums / bulletins for unforeseen scope changes or clarifications, etc. What you need to apply·       Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering (emphasis on Structural), Construction Engineering, or related degree, from a 4-year accredited college or university.
