Job Description

 We are currently searching for a talented Structural Bridge Engineer to join our Mid-Atlantic Region in Camp Hill, PA or surrounding area.The ideal candidate will assist their department by performing basic engineering-related tasks including research, development, design, and delivery on assigned project(s).   What you’ll be doing:

  • Perform calculations and analysis for designing bridge and transportation structures using various bridge design software programs
  • Review calculations and design details developed by others
  • Work sharing on project assignments throughout our corporate footprint
  • Perform load ratings on bridges of various type size and complexity
  • Attend meeting with clients and other professionals and organizations
  • Develop solutions to challenges presented by the client within budget, schedule, and project constraints
  • Review shop drawings and other construction related submittals
  • Organize and maintain project files
  • Quantity take-off for bridge project engineer’s estimate


What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Valid Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.) in Pennsylvania preferred or ability to obtain
  • 8 - 12 years of engineering experience in bridge design
  • PennDOT bridge design experience
  • Skilled in the use of Microstation or AutoCAD
  • Technical expertise for the layout & design of bridges and related highway structures
  • Familiarity with rehabilitation of existing bridges and highway structures
