Job Description
The Pavement Engineering Intern will help deliver outstanding pavement analysis and design services. You will leverage your knowledge of pavement engineering fundamentals and technology to perform pavement aspects of highway design. You will assist with the preparation of studies, construction documents, drawings, maps, reports, and supporting documentation and calculations. This includes pavement analyses and writing reports. You will be supported by a successful team of engineers to advance your technical and computer skills.

- Time will be spent in the office/remotely using pavement analysis software to perform analyses and preparing reports.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 0 - 2 years of internship related experience. Master's Degree with a concentration in pavement engineering a plus.
- Experience working on pavement engineering projects, including field work is desired.
- You must be willing to travel as needed to project sites, and work outdoors under a variety of conditions.
- Excellent time management skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize competing project obligations.
- Strong English language skills, written and verbal, are essential to long term success in this role.
- Quickly get up to speed on our policy, procedures and relevant software while acquiring an understanding of the company’s service offerings, and the client standards relevant to your projects.
- Microsoft Office Suite, proficiency with spreadsheet application development and familiarity with GPR and CAD software.
COMPENSATIONThe salary range for this position is $18 - $23 per hour.
