Job Description

STRATA has provided clients with professional geotechnical engineering, construction inspection, and material testing (CMT) services throughout the intermountain west for over 40 years. Currently, STRATA has a position open in its Idaho Falls, Idaho office.  Position DescriptionA Construction Services Professional performs field construction observation and material testing (including soil, aggregate, concrete and asphalt) within applicable standards and requirements.  A Construction Services Professional ensures quality assurance and/or quality control for various highway/roadway and other types of construction projects. Assists and supports in-house laboratory testing. A Construction Services Professional assures that proper document control, quality assurance documentation, and construction project records and reports are accurately recorded and kept. Position Qualifications and RequirementsIdeally, you will have previous experience performing asphalt, soil, and concrete testing and inspection and hold certifications in one or more of the following: NICET, ACI, WAQTC, and Nuclear Gauge Training. Requires a valid driver's license with a good driving record.  Expect to be proactive, use a team approach to solving issues, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, operate a computer, and be client service oriented. Represent STRATA in a professional manner at all times and on a daily basis by demonstrating our Core Values of:  safety, integrity, teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and respect.Must be willing to travel to remote project locations, arriving at job sites on time, and working varying hours, as needed.BenefitsSome of our comprehensive benefits include:
