Find out how a career as a Project Engineer can change yours.As a Project Engineer your key responsibilities will be to manage the contract administration of a phase of a larger project ensuring profitable operations.  Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by perform the following duties personally or through subordinate engineers.  Critical for success is the ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.  Must be detail oriented and flexible and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Why Michels?

What it takes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related field
  • 2+ years of prior project engineer experience in heavy civil or tunnel construction
  • Management of heavy civil or tunnel projects with project values of $150M or more (Desired)
  • Experience with soft ground TBM (Earth Pressure Balance) and/or Slurr) experience (Desired)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Primavera P6
  • Ability to relocate or travel and be project based
  • A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
