Our League City office is currently looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer, with professional registration in Texas. The position provides the opportunity to grow to the Geotechnical group in the League City office and manage the department.


Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Preparing proposals with defined scope and fees.
  • Coordinating subsurface exploration, develop site preparation options, provide recommendations for foundations and pavements, settlement analysis, lateral earth pressures, slope stability, forensic engineering and site investigation.
  • Consulting with internal team and design team to provide innovative and reliable solutions in a responsive manner.
  • Training field and lab staff.
  • Business development.
  • Following up on invoicing and collection.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.

  • Utilizing technology for more remote work opportunities and innovation using everything from video conferencing to drones
  • Following all CDC guidelines including social distancing on job sites, in offices, and in our labs
  • Implementing a stand-by leave program to ensure our employees continue service and health insurance benefits during regional work shortages
