Job SummaryOur Transportation Team currently has a vacancy for a Principal Engineer to be based out of our Dublin or Cork office, following several major project wins.You will be recently Chartered or working to achieve this status and will have proven design and project management experience delivering to quality, time and budget. Additionally, you will have experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary project team developing designs for multimodal or mode-specific traffic engineering schemes, urban realm and public transport improvements for urban areas.The role would suit a self-motivated individual looking to advance their career in a dynamic team that works closely with our in-house urban designers to create Complete Streets and enhance people's lives through good design.Office Overview:The Dublin office has an established track record of successfully delivering transportation projects throughout Ireland and abroad. The office is located is set up for flexible working which is encouraged and you will be provided with a lap-top and software to help you work around your life requirements.The team provides concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed design as well as associated scheme assessment services on a wide range of traffic engineering projects and also supports other AECOM business lines where their projects have a highway interface. Our Streets Team is involved in several high-profile projects with a variety of clients across the Irish Public Sector, including the NTA, and many local authorities throughout Ireland.Projects:Our current portfolio of works comprises a diverse mix of local, national and international project.
