GHD has an excellent opportunity for Senior Geotechnical Project Manager to be based from one of our Sacramento, CA area offices
Working with the Geotechnical Team this position offers great variety of projects, and will see you involved in
• Working collaboratively with our North American and Global Geotechnical Groups to solidify our position as a geotechnical hub and expand the group throughout all of California. • Lead and develop our technical resources and capabilities on larger-scale projects including multi-disciplinary teams. • Collaborate with the local multi-disciplinary Cameron Park team in providing excellent service to many of our local clients across the Sacramento Valley and the Sierra Nevada Mountains, including EID, SMUD and PG&E,primarily in Hydro, Water and Linear Infrastructure projects.
What you will bring to the team
• Completion of University Civil Engineering Degree with a geotechnical focus. • California GE license. • A minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in Project Management, design and construction in geotechnical related projects. • Experience with Hydro, water and linear infrastructure projects (within the Sierra Nevada Mountains or similar preferred). • Experience in preparing Geo-Engineering Factual Data Reports, Geo-Engineering Design Reports, Geo-Hazard Reports, and Geotechnical Baseline Reports. • Excellent communication skills. • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills. • Strong computer skill with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite Softwares. • Understanding and adherence to GHD’s values, codes of conduct and policies.
