Job Description
BGC is seeking an experienced intermediate geotechnical or geological engineer. The ideal candidate shall have a strong academic background, 7 - 10 years relevant work experience, the ability to manage multi-disciplined project teams working in remote, challenging environments, and a desire to occasionally travel and work in remote areas.
About You
Candidates shall possess an undergraduate degree in civil or geological engineering. A post-graduate degree specializing in geotechnical engineering is desirable. A strong understanding of geotechnical engineering and engineering geology is essential, as well as experience in tailings management and tailings dam design and construction services. Project management skills and a willingness to supervise and mentor junior staff are also necessary. Candidates must be eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer.
Work Locations
All offices, with projects situated throughout the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Australia.
