PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Responsible for fostering long term trusting relationships with Exelon PowerLabs’ portfolio of customers to grow existing and new revenue streams within their book of accounts. Successfully onboarding new customers is a key requirement of this role, as well as working alongside customer to ensure positive customer experience post sale. Sales professional must succeed in introducing new products to their book of accounts to upsell and grow revenue. The Account Manager will be responsible for providing “white glove” service to Exelon PowerLabs’ key accounts and will be expected to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets while improving customer satisfaction.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Serve as direct point of contact for top clients within Exelon PowerLabs’ portfolio.

Manage a portfolio of accounts while building and maintaining strong customer relationships resulting in long-term account success.

Anticipate customer needs and proactively address.

Work alongside Customer Success to seamlessly onboard new clients and communicate with teams internally to facilitate successful execution of projects to customers’ satisfaction.

Document the status of accounts and transactions in Salesforce and other programs as required.

Collaborate with sales engineer and sales leadership to identify and profitably upsell new product lines within existing accounts.

Negotiate complex contracts and pursue contract renewals.

Forecast and clearly communicate key account metrics and tracking toward quarterly and annual goals to sales management in Salesforce.

Work with sales leadership to develop deep dive attack strategies to maintain and grow existing accounts

Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.

POSITION SCOPE

Responsible for owning their book of accounts and growing existing and new revenue streams

Skilled and successful in introducing new product lines into their target clients.

The Account Manager will be responsible for meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual targets while maintaining a higher level of customer satisfaction.

Reports to the Business Development Manager

Critical in the growth of Exelon PowerLab’s business

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field and 5+ years Account Management experience

Successful in working under pressure in fast-paced environments

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Demonstrated experience in exceeding quota as a Sales account manager or Sales account executive

Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience

Knowledge of CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)

Understanding of sales performance metrics

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time

Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude

Expected travel approximately 25%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in power generation sector or other applicable high-tech experience suggested
