Description:
Aspect Consulting LLC, a specialty earth and engineering consulting firm, is seeking an Environmental Planner with either mid-level or senior-level experience. Responsibilities will include project management and coordination of environmental review under the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) in Washington for projects ranging from DNS, MDNS, to Programmatic and Project level EIS is expected. Outreach and public involvement planning, facilitation, and coordination is required. Additional familiarity and professional experience working with local, state, and federal water-quality and shorelands permitting, and development of corresponding mitigation strategies, is desired.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong background in EIS project management
Complementary NEPA experience
5+ years of environmental permitting or planning experience
Advanced degree in natural resources, environmental planning, related field, or equivalent experience
Certification as a Professional Wetland Scientist
Clear writing and communication skills
Problem-solving and client-service mindset
