Job Description

Your Key Responsibilities

Performs complex engineering design tasks on highwayinfrastructure projects; including engineering drawings, engineering reportsand required applications to regulatory agencies.

Manages the design and construction of projects and providesinput.

Involved in the permitting process of projects, which may requiremeeting with clients, contractors, reviewing agency personnel.

Coordinates with the regulatory review to seek final approval.

Technical assistance as it relates to highway design and safetyanalysis as requested.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Comprehensive understanding of all phases of project documentproduction.

Ability to effectively discuss project issues with clients andreviewing agencies.

Possesses excellent time-management skills; Thorough understandingof task assignment and schedule, budgeting and efficient use of time andresources.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree

or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field.

Minimum 10 years’

experience in Design engineering in large transportation infrastructure

projects.

Professional Engineering License required.

Position will primarily work in an office

setting; may require some field work.
