We are currently seeking an Associate Design Engineer to support our growing team in our Langhorne, PA office. The successful candidate must have a solid technical background and be eager to use it to the fullest on challenging and diverse projects involving civil, structural and geotechnical with environmental issues. Technically minded individuals with an understanding of practical application will enjoy the rich diversity of projects that require vision and continuous technical improvement and the rewards that come with it.
Civil site design, SWPPP preparation, and support of field investigation activities including condition Surveys, geotechnical investigations, field measurement and data collection, use of global positioning systems
Support for interdisciplinary projects including environmental, geotechnical and structural engineering
Fieldwork for site reconnaissance, field investigations and surveys, construction oversight
Preparation of calculations
Preparing engineering graphics
Performing and checking engineering calculations
Computer Aided Design of civil projects and structures
B.S. in Civil Engineering with a focus on civil, geotechnical, or structural engineering. M.S. is a plus
3-5 years of professional experience.
Technical civil engineering experience within the areas of site design and analysis for grading, drainage, erosion and sediment control, foundation design, foundation analysis, structural analysis, detailing, and/or preparation of plans and specifications.
Experience in a technical role on multidisciplinary projects including structural, geotechnical and/or marine engineering
Working knowledge of database programs and GIS
Proficiency in reading construction drawings
Proficiency in AutoCad Civil 3D
