We are actively seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our growing team on second shift. The Press Brake Operator will be involved in the fabrication process of a variety of highway equipment and custom metal fabrication products. This individual will cut, bend and punch materials according to shop drawings and will operate a 1-ton jib crane. Our Press Brake Operator may also operate a variety of other machinery, tools, and equipment used in the cutting area. We are looking for a safety focused individual who takes pride in their work and has a strong attention to detail. Our second shift works Monday through Thursday, from 2:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Position requirements include:
Ability to read shop drawings.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent math skills, including a complete understanding of measurements and angles.
Outstanding safety record.
At least one year of experience operating a press brake.
One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
The ability to work in other areas of the manufacturing facility.
Must be able to lift and carry as well as push and pull weights of up to 50 lbs.
The ability to access equipment at various levels by reaching or climbing a ladder, bend over, walk, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
The ability to withstand exposure to dust, fumes and chemicals such as oil, grease, vehicle exhaust, steel and aluminum welding fumes, etc.
