ABOUT THE POSITION:
The intern will support a variety of project delivery needs including contaminated site investigations, soil and groundwater remediation, and remedial system design. Candidates are responsible for coordinating their own transportation to and from the office.
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with engineering calculations;
Assisting in report and proposal preparation;
Assisting with on-site field activities;
Chemical data and contaminant fate and transport evaluation;
Data input and analyses; and
Providing in-office project support to engineers, geologists, administrative staff, CADD operators (draftsmen), contractors, and construction personnel.
Currently registered in a Bachelor’s or Master’s university degree program in a civil or environmental engineering or environmental science program. (required)
Preferred degree focus area is in environmental engineering and science. (preferred)
Outstanding academic credentials and exceptional interpersonal, technical writing, and problem-solving skills. (required)
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
