Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual with experience in one or more of the following markets - Electric, Gas, and Telco - to join the Patrick Geospatial Services team. The Geospatial Consultant is responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement solutions on the Esri platform. At Patrick Engineering, we use the Esri platform to enable our external customers as well as our internal customers - to run our business. This role requires a good understanding of the Esri platform, innovative thinking, and the ability to communicate at all levels. This individual should have practical experience and demonstrated skills in providing solutions to business problems.

This role involves 30% travel.

Discipline Specific Overview

Will interface directly with the customer to:

understand the business problem

gather & refine requirements

assist in developing/prototyping creative solutions

implement defined solutions were applicable

Authoring of project documentation

Assist in scope of work development

Establishes and maintains effective relationships with project team, clients, and senior management.

Attends trade shows as needed.

Gives presentations to current/potential clients in remote, on-site or conference setting.

Participates in other functions as required to strengthen relationships with assigned clients.

Stay current with technology and industry trends

 Skills/ Requirements

BS or MS in Computer Science (or related field) and/or 5+ years of professional experience providing consulting services

Thorough understanding of the ESRI platform

Solution diagraming (i.e. whiteboard, PowerPoint, Visio)

Familiar with proposal development

Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a multi-discipline team

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to perform in a detail-oriented environment with a high level of accuracy.

Ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple work assignments concurrently.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

General IT infrastructure and architecture experience/knowledge is a plus.
