Job Description
Inberg-Miller Engineers (IME) is looking for a self-motivated individual to work as geotechnical engineer,
on a wide array of geotechnical projects. The position is fulltime. Typical projects would include
performing geotechnical and geological explorations for landfills, dams, various kinds of infrastructure
(roads, bridges, waterlines, sewer), and building sites ranging from very large industrial projects to
residential developments. Duties will include managing all aspects of the job from proposal phase to
completion. The majority of projects are located in Wyoming; however, you could work anywhere in the
Rocky Mountain Region.
• Experience – 3 to 8 years as a professional engineer. Knowledge of near surface geologic
environments, with an emphasis on geotechnical engineering and hydrogeology. In addition
construction observation, technical supervision, and project/financial management are required.
• Education – Professional Engineering (.P.E.) license required with the ability to obtain a Wyoming
registration within one year of employment, M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering, or an equivalent
combination of experience and education from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be
acquired may be considered.
• Compensation - Competitive salary with compensation dependent upon relevant education,
registration, certifications, training, and experience.
