Our Los Angeles office is currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to interpret ground conditions and understand their impact on design and construction.

Candidates shall have the following attributes and experience:

· Coordinating with multiple disciplines and working in conjunction with project managers to help complete assigned tasks

· Perform geotechnical design and calculations;

· Writing reports for internal and external purposes based on findings

· Design offshore geotechnical engineering and foundation elements for energy related projects with a focus on gravity based offshore foundations.

· Presenting technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences

· Participating in local Professional Associations

The Qualified Professional will have:

· Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering

· Master’s preferred

· Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Geotechnical/Civil Engineering · Fundamentals and soil and rock mechanics

· PE License desired

· The ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively, manage deadlines and exceptional organization skills required for our rapidly changing environment

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working

· Presentation skills with colleagues and clients of all levels
