Responsible for performing work involving the application of conventional, well-established engineering methods, procedures and techniques in such areas as research, design, development, testing, or manufacturing process improvement. Work pertains to electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment, and of construction, maintenance, repair, alteration, and upkeep projects located throughout the installation.
Maintain a daily log of construction projects.
Documentation of all project activities.
Conduct pre-activity coordination meetings for various activities such as outages/building impacts and assist in the coordination of various project activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
Review for compliance installed work conforms to the contract, specifications, drawings/plans, special provisions, and code.
Review and analyze contractor construction schedules and pay applications to ensure percent complete accuracy.
Participate and provide feedback for feasibility studies, design reviews, pre-construction planning, regularly scheduled project status meetings and punch/list closeout activities.
General understanding of the project delivery process and interaction between disciplines within the project team and will work closely with customer and their assigned responsibilities.
Associates degree or vocational/technical training beyond high school and at least 7 years of construction experience or equivalent. Solid understanding of construction practices, including documentation.
Ability to read, interpret construction drawing/specification, applicable building codes related to assigned projects desired. Strong computer skills/knowledge of all MS Office.
Solid understanding of construction practices specifically General Construction techniques as well as various types of roofing - BUR, Metal, single ply.
May be required to work odd shift. Travel may be required.
Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. US citizenship required for unescorted access to assigned work area(s). Must be able to successfully pass a National Agency Check w/Inquiries

The Institutional Services Contract (ISC) ends on January 31, 2019. The successor contract will be awarded as the Base Operations Support Services (BOSS) Contract.
