The Portland Civil + Survey office consists of 70+ employees including 25 PEs working on a wide variety of project types, serving public and private clients in land development, transportation and municipal projects. We believe in encouraging personal and professional growth, and we work hard at providing a solid structure with minimal organizational restrictions.
This position is in our Eugene satellite office, which currently consists of 11 employees including 4 PEs. The office was started in 2004 and since then, our staff has completed most of the significant local projects including the Peace Health Sacred Heart Medical Center, Wayne Lyman Morse United States Courthouse, VA Healthcare Center, 13th and Olive Campus Housing, PK Park, Pape Field, Roosevelt Middle School, Arts and Technology Academy, and several projects on the University of Oregon Campus.
We seek individuals who enjoy challenging work and want opportunities for increased responsibility and growth. At KPFF, we believe that engineers should be able to practice with a minimum of organizational restriction. This allows each employee to work directly and independently with his or her clients while drawing upon the experience and resources of all other professionals in the firm. Based on this philosophy, our employees experience the opportunity for growth that is based on their own competency, attitude and commitment.
You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of project types – you won’t be pigeon-holed or constrained within a strict, defined box. You will be challenged to stretch outside your comfort zone and given opportunities for growth and increased responsibility.
This Entry-Level Civil Designer position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, an EIT certification in Oregon (or ability to obtain), and AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience is highly desirable.
KPFF is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the work place.
