NV5 Nevada City is looking for a project-level environmental engineer or geologist with excellent writing skills to manage projects including groundwater monitoring, hazardous materials site investigation, mine feature remediation, Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and USEPA Brownfields assessment and cleanup planning with the California EPA Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC).
We are a small dynamic office with a variety of interesting projects. We are looking for a project-level professional, preferably with a California PE or PG license and four or more years of experience.
Works within the current regulatory framework and environmental regulations.
Determines and controls project scope, schedule, budget and overall quality of work.
Supervises staff work and evaluates data quality.
Communicates clearly and concisely with clients, staff and regulatory agencies.
Prepares and reviews written reports.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology or equivalent.
4 or more years experience in hazardous materials site investigation and cleanup planning.
Professional PE or PG registration.
