Job Description

Menard Group USA is currently seeking a qualified Sales Engineer to work in our new Tampa Bay, FL regional office.

Job Description:

Responsible for sales, estimating and project development related tasks

Develops business and searches for new opportunities and clients

Establishes new and maintains existing relationships with our customers

Reviews and interprets civil, structural and geotechnical construction documents

Collaborates with clients to develop creative solutions to mitigate challenging soil conditions

Job Responsibilities:

Prepares geotechnical designs, cost estimates and proposals for ground support solutions

Communicates with Clients, Engineers and Architects to move the sales process along and bring the project to contract

Supports the Business Development department by attending trade shows and conferences

Makes technical presentations to prospects and supports the educational training of clients

Direct support role to the Tampa FL branch office Senior Sales Manager

Requirements and Applicable Skillset:

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Geology or equivalent

2-5 years of related experience preferred

Understands basic principles of geotechnical design and modeling

Self-starter, detail oriented with the ability to work independently

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Familiar with AutoCAD

Comfortable working in smaller branch office environment, with some travel required
