Job Description
The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for the general management and coordination of the Quality Control and Punch List portion of the Closeout Program and report to the Senior Project Manager.
What You’ll Do:
•Ensures that the contractor, its employees and lower tier subcontractors always adheres to Skanska Quality Control and Closeout Program;
•Receives, reviews, confirms program meets the Skanska Quality Control Program and approves subcontractor Quality Control Manuals and verifies each subcontractors is following their program;
•Initiates, tracks and files all QAN and NOC notices and aggressively pursue the correction of any known Quality Control Notices;
•Maintains and prepares weekly QA/QC reports for the OAC meeting and monthly reporting requirements;
•Maintains and prepares weekly Closeout reports (Work/Punch List) for the OAC meeting and monthly reporting requirements;
•Reviews the specifications and generates the QA/QC Responsibility Matrix which indicates by specification all QA/QC requirements;
•Develops and track the performance of all Mock-up requirements and approvals;
•Initiates, tracks, and files all pre-pour cards;
•Initiates, tracks and files all overhead and in wall inspections;
•Initiates, tracks, and files all first time inspections;
•Establishes a pre-installation meeting workshop for each trade and phase of work;
•Coordinates, inspects, and files the all system activation required paperwork;
•Manages, coordinates, tracks, and verifies the work and punch list process, reports, and forms;
•Works with the Owners Inspection agency and/or third party inspection and tracks all quality issues and logs;
•Reviews the Architects/Engineers reports and tracks closure of all deficiencies;
•Collects, inspects, files and reports on all attic stock.
•Maintains an attic stock log;
•Participates in off-site stored material inspections.
•Participates in the subcontractor preconstruction meetings by providing the QAQC overview;
•Implements and oversees the IAQ program; 
•Maintain arm’s length relationship with Contractors;
•Promotes teamwork among all project participants;
•Is thoroughly familiar with the scope of contract documents, and is responsible for their interpretation and coordinates technical questions with regards to the specifications;
•Monitors quality control and insures that construction is in accordance with contract documents;
•Provides supports in receiving and inspecting pre purchased equipment and materials to insure adherence to specifications;
•Coordinates off-site audits and inspections.

•Ability to represent scheduling and project controls functions in a cross-function team;
•Multi-tasking, good time management and organizational skills;
•Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times;
•Ability to understand and follow directions;
•Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent; 
•Minimum 5 years of experience at a construction or engineering company;
•Experience in QA/QC is preferred.
