About the opportunity 
 
With the ongoing success of our Southern Region Transport Group, we have secured significant long term growth for our teams.  We are seeking a Section Leader:  Highways, Rail, and Civil Infrastructure to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Operations, as Section Leader you will champion our strategic objectives to deliver performance excellence, develop and mentor team members and be responsible for operational management of the Section.
 
In addition you will:
 Lead and contribute to strong business performance outcomes (project delivery, market positioning and work winning)
Coach and mentor staff with an aim to support professional development
Provide technical input and oversee the quality of outputs
Deliver high quality solutions and outcomes that meet client expectations
Drive successful delivery of projects on time and to budget
Integrate with Jacobs’ business to position the team for success.
About you 

To be considered for this role, you will have strong leadership skills and a strategic focus to deliver long term profitable growth with Jacobs.  In addition, you will have:
Proven leadership experience influencing high performing teams through establishing collaborative and connected relationships across a broad matrix organisation
Proven background in the development and growth of teams, including market diversification, recruitment and talent management experience
Extensive experience with the implementation of resource sharing projects and work winning activities within a multi-disciplinary environment
Demonstrated experience leading change management initiatives
Previous management experience including people leadership, financial and commercial acumen, and safety/risk management
